I know this for sure, because I’ve been there - done that. For several years, while trying to “save” time and money (I’m a penny-pincher), I attempted to groom our overly-large (springer spaniel sized) cocker spaniel. I tried everything - barber kits from Wal-Mart, special combs with razors, packaged dog grooming kits, even the tried-and-true Flowbee (you know, that hair cutter that attaches to a vacuum cleaner, sold online for years). I experienced various levels of success - sometimes it looked OK, other times it looked like he’d fallen into a circulating fan or something.
